Hi For some reason, Firefox no longer retains login information. I am the only user for this computer and I've set frequent sites up so that Firefox fills in user names, such as yahoo or gmail mail, various forums, or my bank (not passwords). Without having made any changes to security or cookie settings, now these fields are blank when I visit these sites. Every time I close and reopen the browser I need to fill the information in again. I am using AVG free and there was a problem with updates not completing. I ran a virus scan via HOUSE CALL which found a few bits of malware. After that, AVG updates correctly. Yet, I am still losing information that should be saved. My main problem is that now I worry about loggers and can't go to my bank site, since it'll ask me to re-enter my username and password. Is there any harmless reason that Firefox might keep dropping my saved information? This is not an issue with Explorer or other programs that pre-load logins.

Have you already tried to disable the function, close firefox, start firefox and reenable that function? Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!
