Firefox ok,cannot launch IE...

Greetings. Iam having difficulty launching IE. I can use Firefox fine,but IE shows the "This page cannot be displayed". I admit recently I played around with IP address resetting programs/software{Have since removed them}, yet cannot still access Internet Explorer.Any Ideas/......Thanks -ez

You may want to uninstall IE by going to add/remove programs<<add/remove windows components<<(and unchecking the IE box to uninstall) then retry reinstalling IE by inserting your XP installation CD and going back to add/remove programs<<add/remove windows components<<(and checking the IE box to uninstall). Also, you can always go to Firefox's website and search for the add-on that includes an IE Tab which is good for web-developers to flip in between both web browsing engines.
