Hello. There is a site that I visit very often. I use Firefox 2.0 English version. On that site, when I click, (or CTRL-click for open in tab), the links always open in a new WINDOW and not in a TAB. I want them to open in a new tab by either clicking them, or CTRL-clicking them like I do with links from other sites. How can I do that? The "open in tab" option is turned ON in Firefox.

Here is the site: http://www.newsnow.co.uk/

I know, but that is so slow. I use this like all the time. I need it it one click. Opera does that in that site too, but it does not have all the extentions etc.

I've yet to try this latest version, but if you have a scroll or 3 button mouse, 'middle-clicking' a link should open in a new tab

That works, but is there no way to make it open the links in a new tab by either just clicking or CTRL-clicking?

I'm not sure that I understand - wouldn't that be more difficult? What's wrong with middle clicking?
You may need to adjust the settings (if that's what you mean) so that you 'go' to the newly opened tab

Ah, "does not work" - probably the least helpful method of describing something

Still not following you - clicking that link and the links on that page with the 'wheel button' opens them in new tabs for me

True, I'm using FF v.1.5, so maybe you've encountered an issue in v2.0 (but maybe not)

snkupo is right, if you have FF set in the options to open new pages in a new tab, if you left click a link that usually would open in a new window, it should open in a new tab. Here's the problem with the links on that page. They are always changing from minute to minute every time you go back to that page. These are Java script links as apposed to html links. You will notice that if you turn off Java Script they will open in new tabs. Some other Java Script links include folders in Hotmail which will not open with a middle mouse click.
I guess my question is, if you know it will open a new tab with a middle click isn't that an easy workaround.
By the way, I just upgraded my Firefox from 1.5.0.7 to 2.0 and the example page snkupo gives works the same way in both.
