when i canceled a download with firefox's downloader it has left a file behind and i cannot delete it, its been there for quite a while now and everytime i hit delete on it it says it cannot delete bcos its being used by another person or program. Ive tried deleting it by booting up in safe mode and still will not delete. and i always click on "clean up" on the firefox download window.

does any1 have a solution to this? and has any1 else had this problem?

thanks in advance...

Peace.

Have you tried moving it to a different location and deleting it Or moving dragging it to the recycle.

I bow down to those who know the answer! Mostly!

the thing is, i cannot move it to a different location or dragging it to recycling bin because when i try that, it comes up sayin that its being used by another program, so cannot move or delete.

cheers.

FireFox has an option to clear DL manager on exit.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
