Hi
Does anyone know the file location of where the bookmarks are stored as I would like to carry them from one computer to another.

Go to the Bookmarks manager (Bookmarks >> Manage Bookmarks) and there is an export option under the file menu.

Well how about creating a shortcut to my bookmarks onto my desktop? I haven't been able to figure that one out yet.

Hi Jude
As Ben said: Go to the Bookmarks manager (Bookmarks >> Manage Bookmarks) and there is an export option under the file menu.
Then export to your desktop; now you have your bookmarks in an HTML file on the desktop.

That works -- not exactly what I expected, but it does the job. I thought I would get a folder with icons. Also, if Firefox is already open, it opens in the same window rather than in a new one.
Thanks

Jude - set the HTML file you exported as a web item on your desktop, then you will have a list of bookmarks on your desktop all the time and they will be opened as new windows.
Right click desktop >> properties >> desktop >> customize >> Web >> you can figure the rest out.
