I have the latest firefox, 2.0.0.1.
For some reason i'm having problems with adding a bookmark. I used to be able just to click bookmark this page, and pick a folder, click OK and that was it. Firefox would bookmark it and close. Now it has problems accessing the folder, I click ok and it stays open. if you keep clicking ok it keeps bookmarking the same page over and over until you hit cancel.
I have the same version on a couple other computers without any problems at all.
I tried to uninstall then reinstall but problem remains.
any suggestions?
Thanks

Strange, I'm having the same problem. For me, I have to change the name of the bookmark, then choose a folder from the list of 4 or 5 folders most recently used. If I don't change the name, bookmark is saved but the name is blank. Also can't use the pulldown arrow to choose from other folders. I've tried unistalling, re-installing, and all that kind of stuff...still not working right.
Another wierd problem with new version of firefox, everytime I start it, it opens in a small, half-sized window. It won't remember to open in a full window, so I have to maximize the window everytime.
I don't know if it's a bug or problem with my computer. I'm about to reformat and install vista anyway...maybe that'll fix it.

Well yep mine too won't open a full sized window.
Used to I could open it to the size I want, hold control and close. It still works in IE or other programs just not firefox.

Went to firefox chat and some people found a fix for it.
Close firefox completely
Start/ Run/ type > firefox -safe-mode
Safe Mode method: Exit Firefox completely and then restart Firefox in Safe Mode. A window called Firefox Safe Mode with some troubleshooting options will appear. Select the option "Reset toolbars and controls" and choose "Make Changes and Restart".
Fixed mine and should help anyone else with a similar issue.I didn't even know firefox had a safe mode.
