firefox, a must have

I have just installed firefox from mozilla an alternative to ie6, I have to say it is awesome, no other word for it, if you were thinking of installing it, don`t put it off, DO IT :):)

If you use firefox long enough then you will notice a few small problems... It's a good browser but it still needs work. It's also a little more secure then IE because it doesn't rely on active x like IE... But then don't forget that more people spend more time hacking up IE then any other browser. Will firefox still be as secure if all those people spend all that time trying to hack IT up...only the future will tell.

Jim-- Glad you tried it, it's a better browser in a lot of ways than IE. Too many people around here seem to be intimidated by the "Big Bad Wolf".

Actually, why wait for the future when you can have your answer now? The answer is a big ole no! If Firefox had half of the attempts at hacking it that IE has, people would be complaining about it too.
Guys (and gals :)), you have to realize that software security is accomplished through a human. And, as smart as that human may be, someone else out in this big world is smarter. IMHO, security will always be a tug of war game. One day you win, the next day the bad guy wins.
