For some reason I am unable to get the Import Wizard to appear after installing FireFox, although fairly recently I was able to install FireFox and then an Import Wizard would automatically appear before restart in order to import favorites, settings and such into FireFox which doesn't occur any longer. I have tried several times to get this to work to no avail and have had to select the Import Wizard manually under File in order to import Favorites and Settings, however instead of the Import Wizard installing Favorites and Settings into the Mozilla FireFox folder it places an Internet Explorer folder underneath it. I then cut and pasted the Favorites from the Internet Explorer folder into the Mozilla FireFox folder and now instead of the Favorites/Bookmarks dropping straight down when Bookmarks are selected I have to place the mouse arrow over the Mozilla FireFox folder and then the Bookmarks extend out to the right instead of straight down? My question is has anyone else had experience with this happening or know how to fix it? Thank you.

If Firefox was already installed, the Registry keys already exist under your profile. That's why it's not seeing this as a new install, thus, no prompt to import. What you could do is delete the Favorites, then use the Import option to bring them into Firefox. Unfortunately no dice, but will keep trying and post if I find out anything, thank you for the help.

Here is the solution to the problem; Go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks then remove the Favorites/Bookmarks from the Mozilla FireFox folder and or Internet Explorer folder and place them in the Bookmarks Menu folder and the problem will be solved and when Bookmarks is selected you will now have the drop down menu of Bookmarks as it should be.
