Specs: XP, 256

I have tried to clear up my computer recently to speed it up

after performing system cleanup and defrag, there is still 30gb of files in the C:\ drive

I have searched and my Windows, Program and My document folders only add up to roughly 5gb

Is it possible to find the remaining files?

thank you

Set explorer to not hide any files, then search c:\ for *.* and sort by size.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

"files, then search c:\ for *.* "

I would highly recommend NOT doing a search for all files. It is an unnecessary waste of time. Instead, go to the advanced search options and select the "Size" option and set it to search for file over XXX size.
