Hi, Im wondering if I can save an audio file.My example is I like to listen to cartalk ( cartalk.cars.com )And would like to save specific audio files that I listen to.I cant find them in Internet explorer browser cache and I cant find them anywhere in realplayer files.It seems to me if I listen to them on my computer I should be able to find and save them somewhere.I am running windows xp home, 512 ram on a Gateway computer.Any ideas would I would be grateful!Thanx!!!

if it's streaming audio, you need to download a ripping program. A free one is called "ripcast". It doesn't work well with XP though...or at least with me. I found it by accident...I was reading an article and a guy went off a tangent and started talking about how to save streaming audio. I decided to try it out...but it kinda sucks. i tried going to that website you mentioned, but it's taking forever (even for my cable connection), so i decided to cancel it :P

anyway, basically you feed the url where it can listen, and then it saves it to your hard drive for you.

Thank you,Ill try it.Maybe use a search engine.Try cartalk once youll like them.Ive been listening for 15 years and they are funny.Thanx again.
