courbd.ttf
d3dim700.dll
dmime.dll
mmcndmgr.dll <---causing mmc to not load
mmcshext.dll <---also preventing mmc load
query.dll
minipl~1.scm

If your CD is a copy your CD drive maybe having trouble reading the disk cause I know mine did, try re burn the CD to another kind, secondly it may even be a problem with your CD DRIVE, if you have a second computer try swapping the CD drives, If worst comes to worst then copy those files you mentioned from a friends copy of XP and manually put them into their correct paths.
Hope this helps

Or
1. Start / Run and type sfc /scannow ----the WinXP will need to be in the \CD-Rom drive

If this does not correct it.

2.Copy the i386 folder to the hard drive at C:\
Open this folder and start an upgrade from the winnt32.exe file. This will refresh only the WinXP files and likely get the job done.
Any miscommunications betwen the hard drive and CD-Rom drive will give this type of error.
