Hi, How do I check if a file (adware/spyware) is running in the baackground? If so, how do I kill the process? I have a file named CustomB in my temp folder that I cannot delete. Someone else is using it. Help!! Bob

To delete an 'in use' file you have 2 options - 1) restart in Safe Mode & delete it or 2) use a program like 'MoveonBoot' which lets you choose a file to be deleted as soon as the system is re-booted. In the meantime, use HiJackThis to look through for the file & have it remove any mentions of it.
