Hello,
Lately (I think it started after I installed the XP SP3) the way files are downloaded changed.
Originally when clicking on a file to download, a window would immediately popped up asking RUN/SAVE AS/CANCEL, then after selection the file started from 0% all the way, and the progress window appeared.
But now, when i click on a file to download, the page is starting to count as web page load progress, and stuck on maximum 38%, and after a while the same RUN/SAVE AS/CANCEL selection window appear and the file is saved very fast (I suppose it’s saved in a temporary place and then just being copied).
You might ask what do I care? Well I do, as when I try to D/L large files I have no idea how fast they are downloaded and when will it finish. It’s really disturbing!
Thanks, in advance,
Uzi
