Hi

I've been looking all over the net to try and solve this problem.

Video files are randomly being replaced on my D drive (data) to short clips of the matrix and lord of the rings.

Also, the other day i went to defragment my D drive, and it said i needed to run CHKDSK first, so i did.. it took forever... and when it had finished half of my files were corrupt. Picture files had been replaced with album art out of my mp3 collection!

If anyone has any ideas, or a solution just post back

thanks in advance.

The drive is probably dying. Back it up and test it. http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm

Drives can die on a moments notice. The link works, you have to copy and paste. It's not a hyperlink.
