File won't delete

A file won't delete on my system. I go to right click it and only 4 options show up...
Play Add to Windows Media Player list Open with... Send to
I have tried dragging it out of its folder. Nothing. I've tried dragging it right onto the recycle bin..nothing. I can't rename it. I've restarted...
Very strange. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The problem is directly related to the length of the file name, and you will have to use a special program to remove it. Fortunately, there is a free and easy to use one called "DelInvFile" (Delete Invalid File) available here: http://www.purgeie.com/delinv/dldel... That thing should take care of it for you no problem.

If it's in a folder by itself and that folder isn't a Windows folder but is just a folder that you created try deleting the entire folder with the file inside of it. You could also try Unlocker which is Free at the link below.
