Hi,
I had this problem when I was running W2K Pro, and here we go again, same problem with XP Pro.
I had to reinstall my new version Xp Pro after it stopped booting for some reason, It's brand new only installed it once before ,about four months ago and it and it worked like clockwork, so I thought I would do a reinstall as it stopped booting for some reason and bingo I get the message that the above file is missing or corrutpt, can't remember how I got over the problem, last time. By the way I dual boot with Win ME on the same disc whichis partitioned , ME on Drive C and XP Pro on Drive D,
Can anyone shed some light on solving the problem. I have been thinking of fitting a second 40Ghz disc and transfering the D Drive on to that. Maybe that would be the answer. Please help if you can.I run a Intel Pent 4,2Ghz,with 640 Mbs of ram.
Arthur,
