Madga,
I checked on http://www.filext.com, which is a glossary of all known file extensions, and that didn't come up.
Looking in the Windows XP Registry, it comes under "Search Assistant", whatever that is.
Where is the file on your computer (i.e. which folder is it in)?

I've found some more information on these files - here goes.
One direct hit from www.google.com reveals this :-
The .mco extension refers "G-code tool path file" files.
The application they are associated with is VERICUT.
This could be a complete red herring though - I would suggest you open the files anyway with Notepad to have a look (after virus scanning them, of course) as file extentions are very ambiguous.

Scouse comes from "scouser" which is a nickname for people from Liverpool, England (so you can guess where I am from!).
