Did you share the printer yet? On the first PC, open up the "Printers and Faxes" folder in the Control Panel, then right click the printer you want to share....

ok type the ip address on the run command IE //192.168.0.0. That is your own ip address and it should show you on the router, the one that is assigned to your computer. and also if you have a firewall setup on the computer, allow the ip address that you have on the other computer that you are trying to access the printer from, on that firewall. Just go to configure on the firewall and go to network and you should be able to get access from there. Make sure for files you go to each file and right click and click on sharing, that way it is able to be shared out.

hi Beginner1
i typed my ip ( its the same on both pc`s) inoto the run command , but i get an error message saying "windows cannot find "
. how can i check that my pc`s are actually able to connect to each other, or is that what the run i.p would do ?
i`m obviously missing something obvious, any enlightenment would help. :)
