Hi all,

Quick question. To transfer files from one machine to another via a crossover cable, do I need any thirdparty software or does XP have that inherint capability?

If you have the network setup correctly & the two machines can see each other - there is nothing else needed.

Of course any files being transferred need to be either shared by the host or sent by the host.
