Ok here is my problem, after installing WinXP the following day on start up my computer comes up with the error "the following file is missing or corrupt : \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" no matter how many times I reinstall windows the following day the same message reappears. Can ne1 help me?

Is this a new computer or was it working right with a different operating system before you installed XP? A recurring problem with the registry usually points to a hardware failure problem, such as bad RAM or a defective hard drive.
