I just downloaded a new Icon set for my computer. I went into folder options from the control pannell and clicked on the file types tab to change the icons for my files. The first thing i changed was the file folder icon. I went to open a folder later and it opened up a search window to search for something in the folder I just tried to open! So i went back into the file types and and look at the advanced options and there was no set default. The only options their were..::: 1. Enque in Winamp 2. Play in Winamp 3. Add to Winamp's Bookmark list and 4. find. When I click on the advanced tab for Folders (as opposed to file folders) it has 2 options: 1.Explore and 2. Open. Open is the default but I cannot edit wither of these things to see waht program it uses to open or explore. So i made a new action for file folders to open using the explorer program. Even though that isnt really what i was trying to do. It works ok but now evrytime i double click on a folder it opens it in a new windows which I dont like. I have checked to make sure that it should open it in same window. But i think it is because it is opening it with explorer. Does anyone know what I could put as the program instead of explorer?
