file, edit, view toolbar missing

Apart from mozilla (my preferable browser), all my IE and explorer folders/windows have suddenly lost their File, Edit, View toolbars which have just gone. There was a blank area with a windows flag in but now nothing, not even a space where they were. I have reset folders to default and shut down/restarted all to no avail.Please help

moeb, Go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Toolbar - Missing" and download the "Toolbar Repair Utility" then run the executable file. It should correct the problem.
Summary: OK, I got rid of the bookmarks toolbar by right clicking where the buttons are and removing the check next to bookmarks toolbar. I still can't get the buttons to move up to the file, edit, View, too...
