Everytime windows starts up a message pops up saying that there is a file called program and it asks me if i want to change the name of the file as it could affect other programs. Each time windows starts one of these files are created each time asking me to do the same thing over again. This file is located in "C:\" Please help me sort this problem out if you can please. Cheers, Chrissy.

Also check the following two folders:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

and

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Where username denotes your User Account configured on the computer.

So, try to remove it from the above two folders.

Open Windows Explorer,
click "Local Disk(C:) once,
in the right hand pane, look for the file called PROGRAM, and delete it.

Leave the folders alone.
