hello all,
please excuse me for asking this question that is probably quite simple but i am having problems playing music cds in my drive,it says(this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action,create an association folder options control panel).my pc has been working with this drive ok for 5 years and i havent changed any thing that i can think off.im not very clued up on technical terms so if some one can help.i ran regcure and it says my file associations are ok.oh i forgot to say that if i log in as another user it works ok.

What program were you using before? You can open Windows Media Player and use that to play the CDs.
