Comment:

I have problems with my internet shortcut files i.e. they result in displaying the message: “This file does not have a program associated with it. Create an association in the folder options.” In the folder options window, when I click on the internet shortcut files the change button is off. How can I fix this?
Cheers

PS. This problem probably arises from uninstallation of AOL software.

Positron, Go to the link below and download the "URL File Association Fix" zip file. Download the ZIP and open it. Extract the REG file to your hard disk and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt.
