Comment:

I have a new system (Dell Precision 650) and I like it very much. But everytime I boot the machine, a folder opens up on the desktop. The file is "C:\WINDOWS\System 32" After it opens up, I close it and it never opens up (by itself) again until I re-boot.

Why would this be happening?

Try running MSCONFIG. goto START, then RUN, type in "MSCONFIG". System Config Utility opens up, goto the STARTUP Tab. Uncheck some items there that may be related to that folder, or if a certain startup item is located in that folder.
