Hi, recently I keep having these problems. My Firefox and MSN live keeps prompting me with messages that say ".. has encountered a problem and..."
The next thing I know, I have to close it. And my PC has been acting strangely. Sometimes after booting up, it'll do a reboot by itself. My PC green LED light is not lit anymore, and I can see that the amber light is flashing at a constant rate. Are these problems due to my powersupply? Do I need to post a hijackthis log? Thanks

Try chkdsk. Amber light be the hard disk or software problem.
Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

I think my hard disk is alright. Could there be any other problems? As of today, when I tried to switch on my pc, it reboot by itself 3 times. And i see errors like lsass.exe and generic win32... I tried opening firefox, opera, keep getting messages that say they had encountered a problem and need to shut down. The same goes to MSN Windows Live and Movie Maker. thanks

lsass.exe could be a virus. I googled & found this, & other suggestions.
