Hi i was wondering why is it when i boot my pc which as win xp pro on it and i put the 98 boot up disc in and i start with no cd rom support and i type in fdisk it doesn't work nothing happen what could be causing this thanks.

Hello Shawn:

Why are you using a boot 98 boot disk?

If you want to format the drive or create partitions in XP, go to the command prompt
(Start>Run>Cmd) and use Diskpart, which is the equivalent of FDISK in XP.

Go into bios and Set it to boot from A:
