Fdisk same as new partiton ?

I just wanted to know because I do not have any DOS cd with Fdisk on it , when I do a Re-Format of harddrive , is it OK to just use Partion manager to erase the harddrive or do I still have to use Fdisk to fully erase the harddrive before I re-install xp pro ?

You dont need DOS, Fdisk or Partition Majic. You XP CD contains everything you need to erase, create and format partitions. Stuart
