I installed the fax driver wizard so that I could fax from my computer. My question is; On receive can I somehow set up the software that it will examine the phone signal coming in for a fax tone and route the call to my computer for faxes and back to the regular phone line if it is not a fax signal? If this does not do what I am looking for is there any fax software that does?

No such animal exists for fax services. The fax is set up to answer on a certain NUMBER of rings and when answered will listen for the signal of an incoming binary signal. If no signal it will auto disconnect and reset itself to answer the next ring.
