Fax services

CPU/Ram: amd k6-2/386

I tried to install fax services but I get messages that it cannot find some needed files. I have found them on the CD and copied them to my hard drive but they all have a "_" as the last character of the file extension (i.e. an exe file would be ex_). Has anyone ever seen a problem like this?
