Favorites in IE6 wont alphabetize??

For some reason sometimes the favorites folder in Internet Explorer wont alphabetize and has even placed favorites out of order. I have tried replacing them with saved organized favorites to no avail. The only way I can get it organized is to do it the long way and click and drag. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Does it have a limit on the number of favorites it can organize perhaps? Thank you.

Have you tried clicking on favorites and opening the pull down menu, then right clicking anywhere on the menu and then selecting "Sort by Name". Like most M$ menus they do not always automatically sort. Using a right click causes a sort selection. This works for all types of menus even the start/programs one.

Don't forget you have to click on the word Favorites between View & Tools not the Favorites with the "star" then r click and then "sort by name"
Hope this helps
