Greetings all. I have a couple of questions regarding IE 7 and its handing of favorites.
When I click on favorites, all I get is a
few select folders and the downward pointing carets which I need to click in order to see all of my favorites. How can I change this
so that I see all of my favorites without
having to click on the carets? I had it set
up that way in IE 6, but I can't find a way
to do that in IE 7. Also, IE 7 doesn't seem
to 'remember' where you were the last time
you clicked on favorites and it always
reverts to the top of the menu. For instance,
when I have my favorites sorted by name and
(for the sake of argument) I've gone to a web page whose name begins with an 'm'
using the favorites function, when I click
on favorites again I'm back to the top of
the menu instead of where I was previously.
It worked that way in IE 6, but again, I
don't see a way to fix this anomaly in IE 7.
Any nd all help appreciated. THANKS.Bob C.

click the button 'add to favorites' (*+) and select 'organize favorites ...'
Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

What does that have to do with anything? I
can move, rename, or delete a favorite that way, but what does that have to do with my question? Nothing that I can see.Bob C.

From IE7's Help (and this is all I've got):
Quote
You can change the way in which the websites you have visited are displayed. You can sort them by date, site name, most frequently visited, or most recently visited (My note: I think it should say "today" on this one). To do this, click the arrow to the right of the History button, and then choose an option from the list.
End of quoteHTH
Bryan
