Hello

I have a .avi file (a legally ripped DVD) which I cannot play with either Windows Media Player 10 (fully updated) or VLC media player. It plays audio but not picture.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for a reply.

although it is fully updated you still need the proper codecs. i use "ace mega pack codecs". search for it and upon installation you have to register it o wm player or it wont assign the codecs to the player.

Thanks,
Jason
