Yesterday my usb drive was working fine, could run programs from it and access all the files. However when I have plugged it in today I get a disk is not formatted message box.

I can live with the fact the that usb drive has gone faulty, but not that I cannot access the files. Is there anyway of recovering the files?

Clive,
Thanks for that I will try this later on. However reading the other thread it starts off by saying:

"If the drive/partition shows up in Device Manager and Disk management, but NOT in "My Computer", chances are that it is "only" the partition table that is missing or corrupt."

However my drive is showing up in "My Computer" but when I double click on it it comes up with the format message.
