Comment:

I just did a clean install of XP with SP2 and after reinstalling all my softwares, i discovered my keyboard went berserk. A lot of characters are mapped wrongly, e.g. pressing '\' on the keyboard returns '#', '~' returns something else. I am really weary to re-install windows and all my software. Any idea?

Sorry, its totally a stupid fault of mine. I changed the default input language from English US to English UK. It's now back to how it was.
