Hi people ! i need ure help BADLY!!
ok..I have a comp with 2 Hard disks. Recently I removed the slave drive having music for about 12gb and gave it to a friend. The OS then was win 98. I then formatted the master hard disk and installed win XP. On recieving the slave back, i reconnected it and now it shows the FAT32 disk as RAW. The drive appears in XP as F: but i cant access it as it asks me to format!!which i cant! So i tried rechecking the jumpers. Its on Slave. I tried the convert command at command prompt but it doesnot work as it is a RAW drive. I then tried partitioning the remaining space which resulted in a 16mb(that was all the space that was left in the disk) logical partition which i now dont bloody want! I even tried drvrecover from the xp cd by trying repair the boot sector of the drive...but still no change.
