famillier with compaq armada m700??

i have a compaq armada m700 here are the specs...p2 400 mhz, 128 ram, (64 on board, 64 slot 1, slot 2 empty). i'm new to notebooks and i was wondering what exactly do i look for when buying this type of notebook ram... is it pc 100?, how much pins... ect... also, can any one give me any links on instuctions on how to install ram on notebooks, ( like how to open, precautions, what to look for ) thanx A MILLZ in advance!!!!!!!!!!

Look at www.crucial.com and www.kingston.com they have memory finders on web sire. It is different to PC memory, and you need to download the manual from support at www.compaq.com, they will probably have specs of this Laptop as well which should include type of memory etc..
