Hi,
I keep getting a little Yellow Shield Icon appearing in lower right hand toolbar(next to the time) everytime I put my laptop on. When I scroll over this icon it says that it's downloading updates for my computer. The funny thing is it is always at 33% (a very masonic number) and a message tells me that I have low disk space. If I close the low disk space messsage another will appear moments later saying Critical disk space and then No Disk Space! But If I click on Disk Defrag it says I've had the same disk space all along. So this message is obviously false but still very irritating. How the hell do I get rid of it??
Thanks in advance,
Stuart

Description of the Low Disk Space Notification in Windows XP
(and how to turn it off)

OR if you want to stop doing Updates Automaticly ---
Right click My Computer,
then Properties,
then Automatic Updates tab,
Then you can change the setting there to Manual.
