VZgman December 6, 2010 at 13:05:01 Specs: Windows XP, Task Manager processes
Found this in Task manager under processes "FakeNotIdle.exe" not using any CPU but holding 11.9M of ram. What is it used for? This is on a corperate Desk Top with sluggish performance so I was looking around to see what could be causing it malaise.
The name suggests it might be something designed to prevent the system from triggering screensaver or idle-time power saving options like harddrive suspension. Since it is in a corporate environment I suggest consult IT system administrator. Processlibrary.com has no record of it. It might also be malware.
