Failed to run msconfig

OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2
CPU/Ram: 1.86 GHz/1 GB
Product: Dell Optiplex 745
Comment:

1). I having an error " Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click Start Button, and then click Search ".

2). Kindly assist me on the above matter before it will leak to another serious problem for our system.

If this is a work computer the company may have stopped the "msconfig" application except as from the admin account! All you would see is the notice as stated!

You might try to use start > run

msconfig.exe

and if that is no good read the various solutions from here:

Do what you did to fix REGEDIT, but copy MSCONFIG to this folder ---
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries
