Hello all!
Just a quick question...
I have a program called "CCleaner" and it works really well...BUT...I just noticed that it cannot delete 2 particular files from my temp internet files, and I dunno what they are and why it says...

Failed to delete file: http://www.pbplustour.coLEAK
and...
Failed to delete file: http://127.0.0.0:3004/js.cgi?caw&r

Can someone tell me what they are and how to delete them??
This program removes all temp internet files, and fixes issues in the registry, etc. I really like it and it has never done this with not deleting.
Thanks to anyone that replies...

P.S. I can't even delete them manually from temp internet files.

Also, I ran Spybot S&D. Adaware, SpywareBlaster, AVG, CWShredder, Trojan Remover and Stinger. Nothing was found from any of these programs.

Try running 'HiJackthis' - as they look like web hijackers that's the tool for you. If you know where they are, try restarting in safe mode, not connected to the internet, & try deleting them again. Otherwise try using a program like 'GiPo MoveonBoot' which lets you select files which are removed as soon as you boot up.

Download cwshreder(free) and it will get rid of them too.

lurkswithin,
I already posted above that CWShredder did not get rid of it either.

johnr,
I will try doing that with HJT. I will try the other tools that you suggested as well. Thanks...I will let you know.

I just did a google search on : pbplustour and it is some sort of porn site.
I did not have it appear in my HJT log file and I don't know how to get rid of this.
I reran all my programs that I mentioned above and it is still here. None of the programs are picking it up.
Can someone one tell me what to do?? I am really baffled on this one.
Thanks to anyone that replies.

Also, the 127.0.0.1:3004/js.cgi?caw&r is still here too.

Have you tried to delete those files in safe mode?

Another tool that might help is MOVEONBOOT. Do a search on GOOGLE.

RMC,
I did try to delete in safe mode and it didn't work.
I d/l'ed MOVEONBOOT and it didn't do a thing. I am at a stand still here. It is still sitting in my temp internet files. I even ran Spybot, Adaware, CWShredder, AVG, Trojan Remover & Stinger in safe mode, and still nothing. Thanks for trying to help.

Anyone else out there have any other suggestions??
