Every time I connect to internet a message box appears with: Failed to load control 'Inet' from MSINET.OCX. Your version of MSINET.OCX may be outdaated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

I dont know what application this is and what I do with it.

Would appreciate help. Thanks, Judy

Update\re-install ur version of DirectX.

This might fix it !!

Judy: msinet.ocx is an ActiveX control file used by Micosoft for internet transfer control.
it is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
file size about 113 Kb.
version 6.00.8862

could try a download from a driver site.

meantime, do a registration to see if that helps;
click Start, Run, type: regsvr32 msinet.ocx
and press the Enter key.
