When logging on a message appears "This application has failed to start because AIM_xmlp.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. What does this mean and how do I fix. Thank you in advance for your help.

this mean that the file is missing.
AIM_xmlp.dll can be download at

I believe AIM is AOL Messenger, and maybe reinstalling AIM will help.

Of course if you deliberately uninstalled it then there may be some legacy entry in your windows/prefetch folder. Always a good idea to delete the prefetch contents every now and then to clean up stuff that's no longer needed.
