F8-safe mode-all commands enter -repeat ----!

Specs: Windows XP
computer boots up and show the usual mother board sign, goes into safe mode, all commands lead to load win.xp pro normally,no keyboard except F8&enter. all commands do same thing , it shuts down and restarts. loads XP Pro install disk and keeps the same thing up. No mouse control and black screen. It starts to load windows and shuts down again. Has PCTools spyware Dr. with antivirus and register mechanic purchased and installed and not worth a damn. Help me please. Also cannot get in to enter any kind of command!!!!!!!!

registry mechanic. registry fixers are never recommended. They cause more damage then they fix.

Sound more like hardware failure though since you had the same thing happen with booting the xp cd.

Might start with opening the case, blowing out the dust. Try a different keyboard. Same results booting from the xp cd [assuming you changed the boot order in the bios to boot cd/dvd first] I would reseat the ram and any cards in the system.
