F10 key linked to alt?

Comment:
I've noticed recently that my F10 key activates whatever my alt key normally does. For example, if I were to press F10 now, i would have access to my menus with the keyboard. Now this isn't just my keyboard, because other external keyboards experience the same problem. Does anyone know what I could do about this?

Normally F10 activate the menu bar in the active program. Check your Keyboard (properties) in Control Panel, it may be possible for you to edit key settings there.

In Windows HELP, click Index, then type:
keyboard shortcuts
Then below that, see "List of Keys". You will find it listed under "General Keyboard Shortcuts".
