Extracting images from HTML

I have tons of HTML files with embedded images that I need to extract. Does anybody know of an automated tool (freeware) for this job?

If you use Firefox, get the Downthemall extension... http://www.downthemall.net/
I use GetRight's browser to leech graphics in IE 6.0...

Hi Wombat Thanks for your reply I do actually use DownThemAll with Firefox, but I still don't know how to automate extracting graphics from the HTMLs on my hard drive! I tried the dTa manager but it didn't do it. Any ideas?
