OS: Win XP - Home ed.
CPU/Ram: P4; 512 meg RAM

I have two external firewire HDD daisy chained. I usually turn the first one (disk:G) in the daisy chain line on, let windows recognize it, then the second (disk :H), but when I do, the first one dissapears from windows explorer window. Anybody know why? Thanks.

You need to have the drives connected to a firewire HUB so the each drive won't disturb or disrupt it's neighbor.
