hi all i can't extend my desktop to external moniter.it used to work fine but just stopped. i've done a format and fresh install of xp pro and i still cannot enable second moniter the moniter works fine on my other laptop and used to work on this one i've installed the correct video driver and have not done anthing different from when it used to work any idea's ta tcummo

What happens when you go into the Display Properties and attempt to select the second monitor?

i am using dell drivers 2nd moniter wont activate tried everything when i first intalled xp plus all the same drivers from dell it worked ok then moniter stopped working so i done a format reinstalled xp and all the same drivers but still wont extend desktop
