explorer.exe uses 100% cpu

OS: XP Pro SP2
CPU/Ram: Pentium M 2.13 GHz / 512

My computer currently runs at 100% all the time with both Task Manager and Process Manager showing explorer.exe being the culprit. This starts almost every time when windows boots. I cannot seem to figure out the problem.
